Treo Users Can Now Find Business Locations, Get Directions, and Traffic Conditions on the Go

NEW YORK, Oct 12, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Palm, Inc. (Nasdaq:PALM) today announced that it will deliver the popular interactive mapping experience of Google Maps to millions of Palm(R) Treo(TM) smartphone users. Google Maps for mobile optimized for Palm OS(R) based Treo smartphones is a free downloadable Palm OS application that offers directions, local search, moveable/scalable maps, location satellite imagery and traffic updates while on the go.
